    You need to forward the address verification document to verify the new address.

  • How can I register on Trade Ceylon?

    You can access the registration page by selecting the 'Register' button in the top right of the home page. The registration procedure will be done under three phases for both the buyer and seller.

  • Is it mandatory for me to attach my business registration document?

    Yes. It is mandatory since it is required to be verified and confirmed regarding the legal entity of the business.

  • Is it mandatory for me to attach my address verification document?

    Yes. It is mandatory since it is required to be verified and confirmed regarding the physical establishment of the business officially.

  • How do I know that my account is successfully registered?

    Once your account is successfully registered, you will be notified with the access link to your provided email address with the confirmation.

  • How do I know that if my account registration is failed?

    You will be notified to your provided email address or/and phone number as an error message through our system during the process with the relevant reasons such as insufficient information or any particular concerns.

  • What are the documents I can use to verify my address?

    You can use any official documents which consists your business details with name and the address (Example: Telephone bill, Utility bill (Electricity, Water), Bank statement or other documents which fulfills the requirement.

  • How can I select Products & Services categories according to my business type?

    The main categories are classified into various sub-categories. You can select the relevant sub-category/ies accordingly to where your Products and Services belong. This can be done during the phase two of the registration. You can also modify your selection of categories later in your profile settings after you complete your registration.

  • How can I make the payment for the registration?

    The payment can be made through a Bank Deposit method to the provided Account details of Trade Ceylon during the registration process.

  • How can I verify the payment made to Trade Ceylon?

    You can attach a clear image or document file of the Deposit Receipt issued by the bank for the confirmation of your payment.

    You can request for a new password through the confirmation link with your registered email address by selecting the 'Forgot?' option in the log-in page.

    When you are searching for Products & Services, you can choose the filtering option with verified sellers to find them. Also the verified seller badge will be displayed with the seller information.

    When you are searching for Products & Service, you can choose the filtering option with star rated sellers to find them. Also the star rated seller badge will be displayed with the seller information.

  • How do I subscribe for Sell Trade Alerts?

    You can subscribe to the Sell Trade Alerts by accessing 'For Buyer' page from the top right of the home page and providing the email address.

  • How to post Testimonials for Sellers?

    Once you have logged-in to your buyer account, you can post a Testimonial to a seller by selecting 'Add new' option under the allocated space for Testimonials in the seller profile page.

  • How can I find Sellers by rating?

    When you are searching for Products & Services, you can choose the filtering option with the relevant rating of sellers to find them. Also when sending the RFQ, there also you can choose the rating option to send the RFQ to a particular set of sellers as per the rating.

  • How can I post Review and Rating for a Seller?

    Once you have logged-in to your buyer account, you can post the review and rating for a particular seller under the 'Review and Rating' option in the seller profile page. The rating time period also a mandatory requirement to post the rating and review is not a compulsory requirement when posting a rating.

  • How do I upload Products & Services to my account?

    Once you logged-in to your seller account, please follow 'Profile' -> 'Products & Service' and in the top left of the page, you can find the 'Add Product & Service' button to upload your Products & Services.

  • How do I edit or remove Products & Services in my account?

    In your seller profile, under 'Products & Service', you can find the 'Edit' and 'Delete' buttons in the last column of the Products & Service table list to proceed it.

  • What are the ways I can check and find the RFQs in Trade Ceylon from the buyers?

    In your seller profile, under 'RFQ', you can find the relevant RFQs as Direct RFQ (which the buyers send directly to you) and Common RFQ (which the buyer send generally according to their preferences such as location and category wise) Also you can find the Common RFQs in the home page in the 'Latest Buyleads' box and under the 'For Seller' page separately.

    Yes, you can request multiple products and services in the RFQ template by entering each one by one according to your preferences.

  • What is the notification frequency mentioned in the RFQ template?

    The notification which the seller will be receiving as an alert accordingly per the time period before the deadline to receive quotations you (As a Buyer) have selected in the RFQ template when requesting it. Also the notification will be alerted with a message which you can find it below the frequency option in the RFQ template.
